70% Account blowout.. deep in red.. not much to play with...

An overnight limit order caused a serious blow out to my account, down 70-75% in half an hour while I was away.. blew through my stops. Today made a trade in the right direction bailed out at 1.25 ES point of loss only to have the trade go back in my direction. I don't know what to do lately and how to deal with it. I might take a break or maybe not.

At the moment, markets all screwy! My propriety training with tca futures ended on oct2007, made 10k on the company simulator during the summer, easy to do in a bull market, tough in a bear market! Which brings me to a long losing streak, took breaks from all the market mayhem, started trading cautiously only last week, taking small profits 2-4 points along the way. Just gotta hang in there review your trades and set ups over and over.

Hey guys,
liace is right.. there is really no oppurtunity in the market at all and since the big loss I have had more small losses.. haven't been revenge trading (other then a couple of days after the loss) but really haven't even been able to find any good setups in the market.. I like bear market more then the bull ... cuz when u get into a bear breakout its a gold mine .. bulls need alot of pumping to keep moving on.. but it happens and like, i think, sanglucci said.. if you get ahead of yourself.. market puts u right back in 'yao' place. I will not post the next couple of days unless I can get into any major moves.. March 10, Monday, useless day. C'all later and thanks for the encouragement.

Futures can have some wild, senseless moves overnight that are shocking but return back to normal like nothing's happened. I've been victim to those moves, and I'm sure we all have who trade futures. I wish you the best and offer any support I can.
